Michael Hoffman's book Judaism Discovered should be essential
reading.

Why the Talmud? Because I am sick of hearing about the Talmud
as if this book were the premiere guide for our existence on earth.

If Michael Hoffman's book Judaism Discovered is not read then it
is going to be very difficult keeping up with this thread.

Israel Shamir critiques Michael Hoffman's book. Israel Shamir is an
excellent writer and have read three of his books. The bottom line
is despite the blistering critique is that Israel Shamir is a Jew and will
instinctively protect the tribe.

In a radio interview I was listening to with Israel Shamir, when the
interviewer started asking hard ball questions, Israel Shamir hung
up the phone.

Shamir, read the title: it reads: Discovered. We are on a path to
discovery. If someone were genuinely interested in "discovery", Israel,
and had they read your critique of Michael Hoffman's book first without
even reading one page out of Judaism Discovered, chances are they
would "discover" jack shit.

The ONLY way to comprehend fully Jews, is to crawl into their brains -
and their Talmud. There is just no other way to do it.

...so why am I starting a thread on the Talmud when I could just
sound time at the hundreds of sites dedicated to Talmud studies
like for example Elizabeth Dillings work?.

Simple: self-discovery and a genuine interest to know.

Henry Makow has a completely different take on Michael Hoffman's
book than does Israel Shamir and Henry Makow is a Jew. Why the
huge obvious disparity between Israel Shamir and Henry Makow in
their view on Michael Hoffman's book Judaism Discovered?

What would account (sorry for using a business term for commerce)
for this?

re: comprehending crime through the Talmud

In this article it is alleged that two little girls in Crimea Ukraine in the
city of Sebastopol were murdered and that their murders were
influenced by the Talmud in the matter in which they were murdered.

In order to realize the influence the Talmud may have been in the
death of these two little girls, was the way in which these two girls
were exsanguinated.

Exsanguinate is an important aspect in ritual murder.

What would have motivated the murderer to such an extent as to
deliberately slice through an artery to cause blood loss like this and
then cut one of the girls in to four parts?

Notice that this took place in the city of Sebastopol in Crimea Ukranie

Example of discovery as mentioned above:

I did not know that the most influential rebbe in Jewish history was
Rebbe Aharon of Titiov (died 1800). Had I not read this in Michael
Hoffman's book Judaism Discovered, I would have not known this
and neither would I have been able to confirm this by cross
referencing this historical fact with several online sources.

Rebbe Aharon of Titiov was from a line of Hasidic Jews beginning with
Rebbe Yisroel Baal Shem Tov, the founder of Hasidism.

Strike two, Israel Shamir.

Where did Rebbe Aharon of Titiov hang his Talmudic hat? In Staro
Konstantinov (Old Constantine) Ukraine.

What is always interesting is that a Jew will always be at the forefront
of Talmudic studies and interpretations with very few exceptions, like
this analysis...

Hey guys, just viewed this clip. Here's something to consider: I just spent ten days
in Qatar with a very powerful influential Qatari dressed in a thobe, in a conversation
while sitting in the back his truck, he said to me in a conversation about what is

I sometimes wonder what it would entail to hire a world wide mercenary force of

it's a daunting book there, but I've got 230+ pages into it and it looks like worth finishing. Very good information to give some context to Judaism.
