Apple iPhone Thread (5)
It's not a symbol of an apple with a bite taken out of it for nothing...
Time for a new thread, this will be called the Apple iPhone Thread; or just maybe cell phones
in general, and other electrical devices the "technological age" has been shoveling down our
collective throats. The "5" in the thread title is the newly released version of Apple's iPhone5.
First up, who has an iPhone or cell phone? I'm guilty but won't be renewing my contract with
the carrier here in Tokyo. Long thread coming so put your seat belts on...
First off, check this shit out in Tokyo, 800 Apple fans line up a week before the iPhone5 went
on sale on September 21, 2012 camping out in front of the Apple store in Tokyo:
Apple's upgrade, the iPhone5 is expected to give the American economy a boost with an additional
$3.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2012. Analysts of JPMorgan estimated that in October-December
8 million iPhones will be sold. Each unit will sell for $600 dollars.
But at whose expense? Because there is always a pay off further down the road.
Meanwhile, at the slave plant in Shanghai, China where Chinese are paid shit wages have just rioted
at Foxconn Technology where Apple's manufacturing for the iPhone5 is being done. Working
conditions are alleged to be pretty bad by several Chinese workers at the plant. The demand is so
great for Apple's iPhone that workers in China are in short supply and they are being exploited:
Globalization sucks: The Japanese are going ape shit over the purchase of the new Apple iPhone5
lining up a week in advance to "get" their new iPhone upgrade. The Chinese are rioting at the
Foxconn Technology plant in Shanghai where iPhone5 cell phones are manufactured, and in Africa
in the Congo, slave labor under horrendous conditions in conflict zones, children are hauling out of
the Congo on their backs the minerals used in manufacturing Apple's iPhones. Does anybody in
Japan or the US even give a shit about that?
Apparently not:
Mineral of the day (radioactive too): cobalt.
Cobalt and your personal circumstances: What amazes me are all the people on Facebook and
other social networking sites complaining and bitching and moaning about how terrible the world is, the
exploitation of the poor, the grinding poverty, the downtrodden, complex banking frauds,
economic obliteration and corporate exploitation, yet how many use cell phones including Apple's
iPhone5 and portable computers that use lithium-ion batteries that depend on the mineral cobalt?
Your internet life is directly proportional to the mineral cobalt, without it you wouldn't be able to use
your cell phone including the Apple iPhone5. The copper belt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
and Zambia yields most of the cobalt metal mined worldwide.
And wait and see just how that mineral cobalt is mined and by whom.
Blood cobalt, folks, stop bitching about the NWO if you are electronically plugged into technology
and then using that same technology to bitch and moan about your circumstances:
The cobalt legacy re: commerce is war. Now comes Peter Grossman, a Wall Street star. Grossman's
riches, nearly $100m for his firm, FG Management, come from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Congo has lots of cobalt. Grossman has, through a crazy legal loophole in British law, waylaid a
payment of $80m to the African government for a shipment of cobalt from a government-owned mine.
Vultures feed when economies are turned into rotting carcasses:
Enjoy your Apple iPhone5 now users. Congo's Tin Soldiers - Democratic Republic of Congo:
Commerce is war; never forget that. Well, Steve, was it fucking worth it? You're dead so you'll
never really know the full consequences will you?
Footnote: I am pretty much certain that technology is going to destroy us.

Re: Apple iPhone Thread (5)
You're alright by me, Flames, anytime you want a personal conversation at a
small comfortable table with some good background music, a few good beers
and a couple of delightful and very quite girls, let me know.
To give you an idea about how people have this synthetic artificial connection
to be in constant touch with their cell phones, there was this psycho here who
treated his ex-wife terribly, abused her, ripped her off, used her credit card,
seduced a babe half his age and dumped a $25,000 debt in her lap to pay off
after she was released from the hospital after getting sewn back to together
when a car took her out at an intersection.
So she showed me a picture of this dude, a total loser, couldn't make money
if his life depended on it always living off other people, and he's standing on
one of those arched bridges in Japan talking on his cell phone. He wasn't really
talking on his cell phone though, he was acting for the photo so that when his
friends and relatives back in Canada looked at the picture, they would get the
impression he was a busy man in Tokyo on the move. Total fucking loser.

Re: Apple iPhone Thread (5)
Ive had the iphone 3 and iphone 4 , but decided against the 4s and now 5 , only because apart from a little faster processor, theres not that much useable difference in these upgrades for me
I decided to try the windows 7 phone via a nokia lumia , the windows platform is excellent , very easy to use , but unfortunately the nokia phone screen kept freezing and after it had gone back to nokia , came back repaired then froze a few hours later and kept freezing at inoppurtune times, i had to ditch that one
i then returned to my old favourite mobilephone manufacturer , who took a bit of time to get on the smartphone wagon, Motorola Razr model the maxx version with the battery to outlast all other batts , big doze of cobalt here TG it uses the android software which i wasnt keen on having tried an htc on the and 2 version , but the motorola Ui with the android 4 version is much better
Flames, all these old phones have a much better signal reception than any new smartphone , ive proved it , due to the fact their just phones and dont have to cram a hell of a lot of technology into a mini sandwich
Basically these smartphones are crucial now for business use , their really just a mobile computer costing a lot more due to the miniturisation , and the apps are so innovative getting , so much can be done with these toys , its like a fever , but im not head over heels like the iphone queue gang , which is happening in all techno countries , but to be fair , the iphone construction is quite beautiful , but so are some other models now.
TG, yeah i know what your saying about the suffering involved in these toys reaching the elite , but no one gives a shit , the same could be said for many other techno gadgets , cars , etc
Will people start giving a shit whats involved in getting their product into their hand in the future , very slowly sort of like the food industry git hit with a slab of conscience many years ago , the same will get going with techno gadgets at some point in the future
What seems to be important is not so much the ethics about whats going on, but just directing and expanding the fever itself which is carried out with highly thought out product consciousness
If the fever that makes people queue for hours to get the new iphone can be redirected to people being conscientious about where their product comes from , then things will change maybe
its a question of controlling the fashions , fevers which sprout in the subconscious of people through adverts, sex , word of mouth , sex, money, sex, and a performing product and sex
Was there a link missing in your post where the big space is ?

Re: Apple iPhone Thread (5)
I use a cheap Nokia phone that allows calls and text messages and I buy minutes in a pre-paid package super cheap.
My wife on the other hand has the Samsung Galaxy and a paid plan for internet use.
The Galaxy was a better choice than the i phone when you consider durability should you drop it.¨Tests indicate the i phone and its screen break easily from a waist-high drop. Whereas he galaxy is quite durable...far beyond the iphone.
Good idea because I have heard her phone hit the floor a couple of times already...because it is so big yet so thin...very hard to hold in one hand like a phone.
New smartphones emit only fractions of the radiation as older phones...which means smaller tumors.

Re: Apple iPhone Thread (5)
Wonder if she has the S series or the supersize NOTE , the lumia and razr are similar size to the Sam S series which is bout as large as i like to go, good screen size, but that samsung note is a step to far for me in size
good point about the radiation emmisions , by the way, ive been using mobiles since 1989 and i hope i can keep avoid tumours, a few heavy users have gone down with them although there probably other influences inc the radiation
