This first book covers a lot of information I am aware of and you have perhaps already picked up from other sources, but gives the best account of the origin of Rosicrucians I have come across.

I had posted the link to this document once before, but it is a crucial read for many reasons.
After you read this, explain to me how Tsarion could reconcile himself and his support to these various personalities and factions claiming that such things were anything but malevolent.

It is compelling stuff.  The links between the many societies are profound.
After that document you can go to the author's scribd page and view some of his other writings.
His interpretation of the Biblical Genesis story is most interesting.
I am still reading through it myself.
