I registered to be able to vote for only one presidential candidate.
I also convinced six other people to vote for him as well.

Ross Perot.
I found him using his own money to finance his campaign along with his television time and "talks" to have been quite unique.

Breivik-->Tottenham ?

(It is a diminutive of the nickname totte meaning simpleton or fool)

Euro safety umbrella-->EUROBONDS ?

(transferable French/German 'sadomaso' securities that will fuck up the entire EU zone)

Berlin rules out eurobonds for as long as member states conduct their own financial policies!

For others this may seem like random events...for me it looks like a live performance of Dante's Inferno..

L'esperienza de questa dolce vita....and as in life we were so we will be in death...

Yes...it's a horrible conspiracy and it is most shocking how people give their consent...
or don't pay attention.

Do you think things would have been better if Perot had been elected?

That I cannot answer because of so many things that would have had to go through Congress.

But watch all the youtube videos of speeches, lectures, debates and his own self-paid infomercials with his pie charts.
No one has ever financed their own campaign.
No one...no one...ever spoke and acted like Ross Perot. He has his character flaws I am sure, but this guy was roll up your sleeves old school.

And one of the first major changes that needs to take place is campaign finance reform. You can't have tens of millions of dollars being given to a candidate to run for president because all those law firms and corporations are looking to get favors done for them once their guy is in.
You can't create any positive change in politics without removing this money factor...otherwise they are bought off and owe the powers that be.
It is more complicate than this of course.

watching the perot vs al gore debate on nafta....

wiki says this debate ended his politcally career. but im on part 3 of 8 and it looks like Al Gore is failing.

How did nafta approval ratings jump from 34 to 57%

Perot's behavior during the debate was a source of mirth thereafter, including his repeated pleas to "let me finish" in his southern drawl. The debate was seen by many as effectively ending Perot’s political career.[34] Support for NAFTA went from 34% to 57%.

wasnt even going to watch it all but now after seeing the consequences i have to...

al gore and his interuppting shenanigans?

wow what the fuck....

larry king -"from mexico city"

Lady from Mexico City -"uh hi, the subject has come up about the possibility of japanese taking over if nafta doesnt go through"
"im american ive been living in mexico city for many years. there are thousands of japanese here. they are waiting. they are lurking. what are you people doing. wake up and pass nafta"

(So they had propaganda callers for Al Gore.)

Ross Perot is laughing at this caller and said "itll only take a minute to kill that snake, you answer if you want to"

al gore - "president salinas has a trade mission to japan the month after the vote on nafta. if we dont take this deal. you can bet that japan will try to take this deal. they'll be in there in a new york minute. europe will try to take this deal. they are concerned about us taking this deal. listen. Larry, we oughta thank our lucky stars, that the mexican people, have had the vision and courage to strike out on the american path toward the ideas of thomas jefferson. toward democracy, toward free markets. and they just wanna know if we can take yes for an answer."

Of course Al is failing.
Perot wiped his ass up with the truth.
Al just could not cover all the lies and spin necessary to keep something like NAFTA looking shiny, good and pristine.
I can assure you that support for NAFTA did not increase as a result of Perot's debate.
It was being promoted in the media and locally by bought off local politicians and the average stupid American was thinking it was going to benefit them.
It is only now, with the increase in unemployment, joblessness, and the offshoring of U.S. businesses that Perot's realistic forecast has now come to a head.

Perot was not a politician. And he chose a very inappropriate and weak vice presidential candidate that I did think was a sound choice.
Perot used to clean dirty factory boilers twelve to eighteen hours a day in his youth and return home covered in soot.
He made himself into a success.
Sure he has his critics and for sure there are some criticisms that stick.
But he didn't have daddy, campaign contributors or secret society money fueling his lifestyle. He wasn't a Rhode's scholar or a draft dodger either.

Self-made shrewed business man with an eye and ear to recognize bullshit and what was not good for American business.

As you watch more and more videos with old Perot footage you will realize that no other politician spoke like this man or about these topics...and with his own money.
He wasn't bought off.

Here is the media now doing its thing toward Ron Paul. Same shit they did to Perot.
Watch the Jon Stewart video commentary as it won't embed on the forum...

"Terrifying"...ooooooooooooooooohhhhhh....

It's a hurricane like any other...and right now only a category 3...may even move north and to the west diminishing its impact...
I have lived through a direct hit category 5.
The only thing that is a problem is houses and buildings that were cheaply built and not up to proper code due to cost-cutting and corrupt kickbacks.

But a category five hurricane can spawn a dozen tornados....and those will fuck up your day in a big way.
