Looks like thats the way it is if you use the quote button TG, the other way is to paste in or type what you are quoting and then enclose the intended quote with the following
squarebracketquotesquarebracket then after the quote add squarebracketforwardslashquotesquarebracket to get the blue highlighted quote without the quote mark

Kapis, since I'm trying to dominate this board as well, ya, right,
I think that would be an excellent idea so as to keep discussions
running smoothly and on point.

Once a topic is started as a new thread it only makes sense to
keep all subsequent and related posts on topic, ex: the thread
now set up for discussion of Wal-Mart, not that I'm interested in
Wal-Mart per se, but the point is everything related to I guess
Wal-Mart should logically be posted in this thread rather than
starting a new thread.

Kapis, as a "curious package of control freak and hyper-libertarian",
do you think these suggestions might not be a bad idea?

Also, hope it doesn't strike anyone as particularly unusual, but I
format many of my posts to this board, and the previous board as
well, in column format for the simple reason posts are easier to read
this way. Statistically, they have more of a chance of being read.
I have figured out too, that by posting with a black font color
reading becomes a bit easier because of the dark font on a light
gray background.

however, i know i deserved it. I can get outta hand sometimes.

Can't find where it was posted, but Jessie Ventura's show Conspiracy Theory was on and I finished watching it. I will share my take on it...

To add one thing: It's pretty cheesy, the production, the "investigation team", the "lab experiment". It could have/should have been done better, but it wasn't.

The first program was about HAARP. First off I have to say, it was weird even seeing it mentioned on a television. Anyway, he basically went on this investigation to the facility. A helicopter pretty much dropped him off at the front gate.

Obviously, he didn't get inside, nor any information from the official that finally came to the gate so he decided to interview the few locals who were willing to talk about HAARP on camera. The most interesting thing to me was his interview of a Dr who is the son of a congressman, and a brother of a senator (I assume in Alaska).

This guy basically has spent the last 15 years studying HAARP, and brought about the potential of the facility and it's mind control applications. I also, thought it was interesting that the Dr. mentioned Nikola Tesla and how his papers became part of the patent of the guy who created HAARP.

The Dr. also had a device that he let Ventura experiment with that proves that mental manipulation, in this case, music can be transmitted straight into the brain without the ears even knowing about it.

Overall, the show is pretty much nothing new to the posters here, but I think it's a good thing that shit like this is actually on cable t.v. I'm sure many people won't believe one word of it. In fact, a friend of mine called tonight and said "hey man, there's this new show on, it's right up your ally", I said "yeah, I already watched it".

The friend of mine thinks ALL conspiracies are for nutjobs and refuses to have any intellectual conversation about it at all. So he watched it, and of course never heard of HAARP before, and didn't really know what to think.

So in that sense, I think the Conspiracy Theory program is good for people who are completely new to this stuff, or have a feeling that something "just isn't right" with the world, and wonder why. So, I think that is the basic target audience. I have no idea what next week's episode will be about, I doubt he'll ever get into the Illuminati, hyper dimensional physics, or any of that, but who knows?

Another little problem with the show is that many people will write if off completely because they think Jessie "The Body" Ventura (the wrastler) is doing some kind of weird "monster quest" or "ghost hunters" shit. Because the t.v. show is obviously colored up a bit like those t.v. shows that are on History Channel and what not. But it wasn't as lame as I thought it might be.

There were some interesting facts thrown in there about military mind control experiments that I already knew about, but have never ever seen mentioned on t.v.

There is just no way the television format could ever do any of this justice. Maybe that's the point?
