Re: Classicsfrom dapast
I will tell you something sputnik, the germans have a reputation for superb classical music, i always loved select tracks of kraftwerk and their innovation, but there are some superb musicians and music from the krautrock eras - truly excellent stuff , and theres me thinking it ewas just hasselhoff junk, not to forget the boney m excellence too , yeah the germans are close to me heart in many ways (;
Re: Classicsfrom dapast
my dad told me a few days ago that hee saw pink floyd when they were still complete unknown, playing in a community hall. I guess those days [70's] were much less comercial and this maybe led to better music..back then I guess great bands were able to take off due to pure support of their peers...today all you need is the right promotion and TV time I reckon..any kind of rubbish can be sold..
