Who the fuck played Billy Idol

I am remembering a time a couple of years ago, I'd go down to this little "redneck bar" and put some quarters into the jukebox, and play this number. I knew they wouldn't like it, but every single time, they identified correctly the "player of the song", and I don't regret it. Cool

Some people were happy to rock out to it, others wanted vengeance upon thine soul.

The problem these days with "rockers" is that they don't tear shit up like Billy Idol did. Can you imagine working in a hotel the night of a Billy Idol concert, only to discover you were the only bastard around to clean up his mess? Laughing

The solo on Idol's Eyes Without A Face and Flesh For Fantasy were memorable...here is a live version in 2001...tasty...

After leaving Idol's band he did the guitar work on Michael Jackson's Dirty Diana...the ray gun effect.

I remember having a ticket to a Nine Inch Nails concert in the late 90's, and it got "snowed out". The local news had a story about how all of the local churches got together and "prayed the concert would not happen" and it did in fact not happen. I was pissed for days.

This one goes out to a buddy of mine who will never see this song dedicated to him. Because he is somewhere in Afghanistan fighting ghosts he cannot see. Another friend of his and I contacted his family, they haven't heard from him since November (when he was sent there).

Berry (yes, his name is spelled just like the fruit), this one goes out to you. Hope he comes back. One of his favorite bands.... He would approve.

Dio was my first heavy metal concert at age thirteen.
Myself and a few friends drove up to Atlanta, Georgia in a father's "borrowed" car. Smoked a couple doobies and saw a great show.
Saw him a couple years back at a small local venue in Norway

This is from that very Holy Diver tour back in 1983...Irishman Vivian Campbell rocking on lead guitar...I never tire of this song...and play it when I exercise and have to get pumped up...

Apparently these guys are a RUSSIAN PAGAN METAL BAND. I don't know what all of that means. But I do know that when I was listening to them tonight, my screen door fell on my head, during a harpsicord solo.

The screen door couldn't have weighed more than one quarter of a pound. It felt sort of like I was wrastlin' a spider. Let's just hope the neighbors saw the same thing I did!

cheers flames, yeah so many good numbers, each signifying arousal of specific emotional tones that somehow acts like a medicine or inspirer to the listener should they require attentions on that particular sphere of consciousness
